HAMILTON, Ohio – The City of Hamilton expects their largest State of the City Address on Thursday.
Residents will hear presentations from Mayor Pat Moeller and City Manager Joshua Smith. They are excited to discuss new developments in the community, including Spooky Nook Champion Mill — a project that could make a big impact on Butler County.
Spooky Nook Champion Mill broke ground in October 2018. It is at the site of the former Champion Paper Mill. It consists of two buildings. The sports complex will have an indoor and outdoor soccer field and 30 indoor courts. The second building will have retail stores, restaurants and become the second-largest convention center space in Greater Cincinnati.
The combination of both buildings will equal 1 million square feet and cost around $140 million. Spooky Nook could create a huge economic impact on Hamilton, drawing in athletes and families from all over Butler County and even into Hamilton County.
